Some Rush

A bunch of my friends have recently come across a new rush. They say that atv riding gives them the a new rush that you can’t get with any other ride out there. I know that it is similar to motorcycling, but it is more because with an ATV you can go off road. Of course, a lot of people know that more fun can be had of road. I’m not lining up for it yet, but I know that my husband is very much interested.

Long road trip?

We’re thinking of having a long road trip but I’m hesitant since I just passed my driving license test. I already had confident in driving but maybe not enough for traveling long zigzag road with 100km per hour speed. What if I need roadside assistance in the middle of our trip? Oh dear why do I’m thinking such thing. I need to check if it’s covered with our car insurance anyway. Things happened unexpectedly. In due time, I’ll be ready and we will visit Sydney, in my cousin’s abode.

It’s been two years

Time flies so fast. Six more days and we’re officially two years living here in Australia. I can’t forget our first day. It was disaster. Our baggage was left behind at NAIA Philippines. We just got it after two days I think. Can you imagine how it was? Where did we get spare clothes? We were so busy then and it was nearly Christmas. Most of things were shipped with the help of cross country moving company and we’ve waited two months. Moving from one country to another is a lifetime experienced.

I wanted to have a quality time for the kids while they are still young. I know when they get old they will have their own life and soon have family of their own. How I wish we can enjoy the holiday and get a family vacation deal that is fair enough. Outer Banks beach rentals is a very good choice but it’s far from reality with our financial situation at the moment. Vacations in other places or that we haven’t been yet is another experience and adventure. Well, life is not pretty much perfect. We can’t have everything in this world.

An Animated Vacation

The school holidays are coming up. I was thinking that most kids now a days would probably want to have disney world vacations on their break. So I was also thinking that my kids would love to experience an animated vacation. I am pretty sure that they will have the time of their lives there. I would probably have a time of my life there too, since I’ve never been there myself.

A Weekend with Friends

Last weekend, we had an invitation from one of our new friends to visit them at their house. Of course, me and my family went and had a very fun time with our new friends. I was actually a bit jealous because their house was very spacious and neat. They had Ft Myers custom doors in nearly every room. My husband was so eager to get into their modern kitchen. They had the best and newest kitchen gadgets that he totally wants to have too. It was just a great weekend, and the kids had fun too.

Changing Homes

I couldn’t have imagined myself being in a foreign country before. Thank God for cross country movers the move was a bit easier. It would have been a nightmare for me and my family if we had to do all the packing and moving of our stuff. Come to think of it, it would have been impossible for us to be changing homes. The thought of being uprooted from your native country and starting a new lease in a different one was just beyond me. But in any case, we are here now. We have live through changing homes for 2 years now.

Getting Around with GPS

In the past, exploring a city or even your own backyard is such a tedious task of reading paper maps, and using a compass. Gone are the days when we’ve rely on these things to get around. Now a days, you can nearly go anywhere in the world with just one thing in your hand. A GPS device makes use of gps systems to give you accurate and timely positioning anywhere in the globe. Getting around an unfamiliar town or country is as easy as clicking a map on your handheld GPS device.

A Time to Move

When we uprooted ourselves from our home country, we never realized that long distance moving was really hard work. It wasn’t a simple out of town trip, it was an out of the country and long term move. We had to decide which things were important, and which things were junk. This was important in determining which stuff we would take with us, and which ones we would just throw away. A time to move is a time worth thinking about, and real planning is the key. It was a good thing that we had help from my husband’s work.

The Great Outdoors

When we moved a year ago, I never realized that we would be moving to a place with vast outdoors to explore. I know that it is a big country with lush greens; but I never thought that I would be overwhelmed by it at all. Yes, in the beginning I was new to the place; and I’d think that wild animals may still roam the bush. But soon, I felt comfortable and now I’m willing to explore the great outdoors. I just wish we have an rv to make the adventures even more exciting. Camping out is fun, but you can do it in style right?
