The apocalyptic writings are charged with poetry, metaphor, fantasy. We must not make the mistake some of the fundamentalist do and interpret these passages literally. However, we must not make the opposite mistake of dismissing them as “nothing but” poetry.
Metaphor tells us truth more fully and more adequately that does plain prose. The truth is Heaven and Earth may indeed pass away but not before the Final Resolution in which good triumphs over evil and life over death. We don’t know when or how that will happen. Those issues really don’t matter. What does matter is that Jesus and his true followers will finally triumph.

Every model knows how much pain and suffering one has to go through to look good. If you have a healthy eating plan and some exercise it might help but to others, not that much. Some made an effort to maintain a healthy diet and they exercised regularly but still they can get rid of their muffin top. Does appetite suppressants really helps? What about the thing they called FatZap treatment? They said it’s non-invasive, effective and painless. Well, for me, zapping sounds scary.

The Cathedral of Rome is called Lateran Basilica. It is a symbol of the unity of the Church. We are called to be apostles of unity, ourselves living in, and calling others to, communion with Christ in His Body, the Church. May we seek out opportunities to proclaim this message.

Parishes trusted themselves too much. By observing the law and doing their religious duties they thought they had achieved holiness. Let’s humbly examine our hearts and see how, like them, we claim to be better and more qualified than others. Jesus tells us: the one who humbles himself will be exalted!

People always say that it is very hard to get good help now a days. But, for me it is definitely as easy as finding a good term life insurance rate for yourself. People, who are willing and able to work are just around the corner. Yes, there are people out there, who can do you a lot of harm. But I believe on the positive side of people; and that there is definitely a lot of good and love out there.

In these times of financial crisis, people are just missing out on the old work perks. I mean, people use to get a lot of bonuses. Now a days even if the company is doing well and workers are performing at their best, no one still gets a bonus or an increase. I bet a lot of workers out there are missing business gifts during Christmas. I remember my husband use to get a lot of goodies from his work during the Christmas season. He was actually getting a lot of good stuff like jackets, and gift certificates to a local department store. Those were the good old days.

My friend decided to get into the outdoors lifestyle, and bought a new vehicle for camping. Well, it was really an RV. I didn’t bother asking her how much she paid for it. I bet it cost a fortune, and not to mention the cost of rv insurance is a luxury too. But in any case, I do envy her a little. It is a bit of an unusual ride, but it is still a new ride.

Last weekend, we had an invitation from one of our new friends to visit them at their house. Of course, me and my family went and had a very fun time with our new friends. I was actually a bit jealous because their house was very spacious and neat. They had Ft Myers custom doors in nearly every room. My husband was so eager to get into their modern kitchen. They had the best and newest kitchen gadgets that he totally wants to have too. It was just a great weekend, and the kids had fun too.

Many friends of mine are asking if I can help them find jobs. Well, if it’s easy I could help them but it’s not really. I even had a hard time finding job for myself. It’s not like submitting papers from your country and you’re immediately hired for a certain work or position in a certain company. I made lots of adjustment to be familiar with the place. And even to travel by myself, I was scared during those days.
Foreign countries mostly require permanent residency or citizenship. You can’t get in immediately if you’re a beginner and no experience at all. You need to be clever to make it easier for you to find a jobs. So clever as in you know everything. I heard about philadelphia jobs and maybe it’s good for job seekers in the US. If it’s only near to those who were asking for my help, I would recommend it to them. Maybe they’ll find a better chance there.
